Firm Overview: Meet the team
Timothy Kulp has over 33 years experience as a lawyer. He was a Municipal Judge, former prosecutor, and FBI Special Agent.
He is one of seven board certified specialists in criminal trial advocacy in South Carolina. He is AV Rated, and was peer selected as a Super Lawyer in 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
Austin Elliott began an apprenticeship with Mr. Kulp in 2009 during law school. He became an associate in 2011 and works closely with Mr. Kulp on the firm’s criminal cases.
Additionally, he represents Kulp Law Firm clients requiring legal counsel in the areas of Personal Injury, Civil Litigation, and Business Transactions.
Katie grew up outside London, England. She arrived in Charleston in 1987 after graduating from the University of Huddersfield in Yorkshire, England with a B.A. in Humanities. She began working with Tim in 1988, a year before they were married, and has been an integral part of Kulp Law Firm ever since. She has assisted Tim in court in many complex trials, including several death penalty murder cases.
